Welcome to Kruidenier Education Consulting (KEC) and KEC Tutoring. We are dedicated to assisting children and adults in improving their literacy skills. Reading and writing are critical to success throughout life and evidenced-based approaches to improving these skills have proven to be the most successful means for doing so. In addition to providing direct services to individuals, KEC also offers a number of consulting services for schools and organizations. Starting or heading back to school can be a significant transition for kids. Advance planning and preparation for the first day of the new school year can go a long way toward allaying fears and avoiding issues (well, some anyway!)
